About Paws of Penwortham

Founded by me, Kirsty Yates, the aim of Paws of Penwortham is to help dog owners who lead busy lifestyles, or struggle physically to provide their dogs with the exercise they require, so that owners can be assured that their beloved animal is not only getting the love they need, but the exercise, too.

My own dog, Ben, is firmly part of the family. He has given us many years of loyalty and laughs, but he has also encouraged my family and me to enjoy the landscape in which we live.

I set up this business as I understand how important the loyalty of a canine can be, but a busy lifestyle, a change in circumstances, or your own physical limitations can often make it difficult for you to meet all of your dog's needs; my ambition is to help the dogs of Penwortham (and the surrounding area) get the excercise and social interaction they desire.

Dog Walking

Is your dog cooped up for most of the day? I am able to provide a walking service to get them into the fresh air when you're unable to!

I service most of the areas in and around Penwortham and the South Ribble area - if you would like to know whether I am able to service a different area - don't hesitate to contact me.

Dog Walking:

From £8 including free consultation and towel dry service

If your dog barks habitually, or is often caught wantonly causing destruction at home, it is likely down to boredom

Kirsty will help you to make sure that your dog gets all the entertainment it needs!

Half an Hour Session | £8 Hour Long Session | £10

Naturally, some dog lovers own more than one dog - Kirsty offers a discounted fee for each extra dog (up to 3 dogs per hour max)

Half an Hour Session | £6 for each extra dog Hour Long Session | £8 for each extra dog

Pet Taxi Services:

consultation free | £10 minimum

Transport services for dogs, cats, and small animals alike. This service can be tailored to suit the needs of you and your pet, such as transport to and/or from:

- Vetinary appointments (confirmation of appointment necessary in advance)

- The grooming parlour

- Kennels

- Or any other needs

Price dependent on distances involved | £10 Minimum

Drop in Services:

Home visits for dogs, cats, and other small animals. This is a service that can be tailored to the needs of you and your animals. Suitable for:

- Those taking short breaks away

- Owners with older (or younger) animals not able to enjoy the great outdoors

- And simple drop-in feeding, watering, and medicating
